About the Business Club
Established in 2005 we have 2 breakfast clubs that meet on the first & third Wednesday and the second and fourth Wednesday repectively. Our meetings start at 6.45am in the conservatory restaurant of the Riverside Inn, Cheddar.
We have a coffee and chat on arrival with breakfast starting at 7am. During breakfast, members have the chance to introduce themselves and can ask for a specific type of refferal or explain a specific element of the work they undertake. A business card box circulates with members business cards.
After breakfast, there is a short comfort break to recharge the coffee cups & arrange meetings before a final 10 minute presentation by a member on a specific area of their expertise of business.
Memebership is open to local companies or individuals, one per category. We aim to provide an informal but effective structure that allows business people to meet and discuss their business. Annual membership is £50 with breakfast costing £10 per meeting £1 of which goes to our adopted charity Weston Hospice Care.
